December 2017 was a busy month as people wanted to ensure they could hear friends and family during the festive season. The most popular hearing aid we fitted this month in our Sydney offices was the Oticon Opn 1. This is a premium hearing aid that streams phone calls and audio directly from an iPhone. The other main benefit is it’s ability to improve hearing in group conversations by reducing the background noise.
Many people noticed the benefit straight away, and were delighted before the left the office to start the trial. A typical trial of hearing aids is 3-4 weeks, however we found most people were so impressed with their ability to hear in difficult listening environments that they bought the device well before the Christmas break.
