Episode 22: How To Dry A Wet Hearing Aid

Welcome to Hearing TV, bought to you by Edgecliff Hearing and MacHearing.

We want to remind you that during this Covid 19 lockdown, as an Essential Service Provider, all of our clinics are open, and we can attend to your hearing needs.
We have hearing aids & accessories like batteries, wax guards, dry-aids kits and these are all still available.

A dry-aid it is like a little dehumidifier that drys out the hearing device if it gets wet..from rain, condensation or perspiration, or if like lots of people, you get into your shower without removing you hearing aids first. A dry-aid kit will sort out your wet hearing aid for you, and we have these available. If your hearing aid does get wet… turn it off, and place it in the dry-aid kit for 24 hours. Then it should be fine.

And just a reminder that our clinics specialise not just in hearing aids, but in implantable devices.. such as the cochlear implant or the middle ear implant. Take a look at earlier episodes here on Hearing TV that talk about these devices to understand if they might be a better solution for you. Our clinics can provide services & accessories and organise repairs for these devices as well.

So we hope to see you soon. There are no interruptions to our services for the support and maintenance of your hearing device. In an emergency please check our contact details and phone us, we can help you. See you soon.
