Audiogram Hearing Tests

An audiogram is a standard way of representing a person’s hearing loss. Most audiograms represent hearing thresholds from pitch range 250Hz to 8000Hz.  Each hearing threshold has a loudness value in decibel (dB), which shows how loud a certain pitch of sound needs to be before it is heard by the listener.

Below is an example of an Audiogram hearing test result. You can see the results are a little different for each ear. Edgecliff Hearing audiologists can detect the differences and treat each ear for its individual needs.
